Bob Dittman

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Dittman. Bob was born and raised in Prior Lake on February 26, 1963, where he lived throughout his life. He passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.

Bob was a home remodeling contractor and enjoyed keeping busy doing projects around his own house. He liked taking care of his yard, ensuring that it was immaculate!

Bob had a passion for fishing and enjoyed taking fishing trips to Fishers Resort on Lake Mille Lacs. He was the best fishing guide for his wife and enjoyed learning about his new electronic fishing equipment.

Bob and his wife Brenda shared a beautiful relationship that spanned 24 years. Their bond was one of mutual respect, love, and endless laughter. Bob had a unique ability to make Brenda laugh and taught her the valuable lesson of not worrying about things beyond her control. They would have celebrated their first wedding anniversary on July 31st.

Bob's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents Red (Earl) and Marlys Dittman and brother Jim Benson. Bob is survived by his wife Brenda Dittman, sister Vicky Dittman (Burnsville), son Justin Taylor (Kenyon), nephew Jeff Benson (St. Cloud), and grandchildren Noah & Brianna Barnett.

Bob requested that no funeral be held for him, but rather people remember the special memories he made with them.

Rest in peace, Bob. Your memory will forever be a guiding light for those who had the privilege of knowing you.
