Condolences for the family of “Norma Angell”

Condolence from Heidi Bunkowske on February 21st, 2016 3:00 pm

Charlie, Kathy, David, Bob, Mary, Jane, Joyce, Donald, Ann and families…Because Norma has touched the lives of so many – – she will live on in each of us. As we look at photos from times we shared together, we can’t help but smile. Her laughter, her humor, her spunk, her caring, her love for family and friends, and her deep compassion for understanding those hurting from deep sorrows — means she has left her indelible imprint on this earth. Even now, in her passing, she is instructing us to: “Live! Love! Have fun! Be happy! Make it count! Holy crap – – don’t wait, do it now!” Norma has friendships that have lasted all of her life (OLV & FFHS ’78) and has built new friendships that will last all of their lives (Marissa’s friends, colleagues…). She brought joy to all of us lucky enough to call her friend. We miss her so already. Charlie – – may the support and love you have felt around you and Norma in the past year/years bring you strength as you journey forward with the loves of your life watching over you. We celebrate the life of Norma!

Condolence from Helen Wood on February 22nd, 2016 2:47 am

I count myself blessed to have known you Norma, for an amazing year when I arrived as an exchange student from South Africa. I joined the Senior year at FF HS in 77-78 where you and your circle of good mates made me feel sooo welcome and accepted that this experience still stands out as a truly special one in my life. I still remember over 30 years ago the giggles, the nonsense, the fun, the laughter and the amazing talks we shared. The angels are lucky to have you in their company!! My thoughts and prayers go out to your family….. from across the miles…..Helen Wood (Sunshine Coast, Australia) xxx

Joyce,
Words may not suffice to express the heartfelt sorrow that I feel for you and your family. Please know that I will keep Norma in my prayers.

Prayers for all of Norma’s family. Although I did not know Norma; I know that IF she was anything like her sister Mary Steussy–she had to be an awesome lady!! Mary spoke highly of Norma and her daughter who had also passed away from a brain tumor. May she rest in peace.

Condolence from Linda Norman on February 24th, 2016 5:47 pm

I’m feeling deep sorrow that I cannot be with all of you tonight during this time of gathering at Norma’s visitation….please know that I am thinking of you all; however I will see you tomorrow. My friend of over 40 years….I’m going to miss you so much and will find Sunday’s so hard to bear since that has been my “phone call to Norma” day for the past several weeks. Our circle of friends for so many years is broken and our hearts ache. Scott and Norma shared a special relationship that only some of us can truly understand and I know they are in heaven having some pretty good conversations, sharing some really good hugs and teasing each other in the naughty way they did.
I will miss her forever, right along with all of you….Much love to you all~

Condolence from Karen & Alan Thompson on April 2nd, 2016 2:18 pm

My sincere sympathy to the Angell & Boeck familes;
I’m very sorry for your loss – what a beautiful woman!
Unfortunately, I did not know her personally, and I hope that your shared memories will bring comfort to each other during this difficult time.
