A resident of Lonsdale, MN, Nicole Krista (Jandl) Goldman, was 44, when she went to her heavenly home Wednesday evening, September 10, 2014, at her home. The visitation will be Wednesday, September 17 from 4-7 pm, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral and Cremation, 104 First Street, Jordan and also one hour prior to the mass at church. Nicole will be laid to rest near her mother Frances Jandl in Calvary Cemetery, Jordan, MN.

On October 25, 1969 Nicole Krista was born to Charles and Frances Jandl in Shakopee, MN. She began her life living in Jordan with her sisters Nancy, Kim, Cinda, Laura and brother Colby.

All through life Nicole lived a simple life dedicating it to her daughters and brightening people’s life. Nicole had a strong bond with her family, spending most Sundays having dinners at her parent’s home.

Nicole attended grade school at St John the Baptist in Jordan. She graduated from Jordan High School in 1988. 1988 was a busy year for Nicole as she also welcomed her daughter Adrienne Ann in February with David Warren.

Nicole married long-time friend Jason Goldman on July 12, 2003 and welcomed daughter Rachel Rose.

Nicole dedicated her life to her daughters, spending her time cleaning and always making sure there was something fresh cooking on the stove or baking in the oven.

Nicole earned her degree from Brown Institute for Graphic Design and was later certified to be a nurse’s assistant. She found her passion helping and caring for other people. She enjoyed seeing people smile from her contagious laugh, always walking into a room grinning ear to ear.

Nicole loved children, especially babies, and was about to be a Grandmother for the first time to a little boy. She was ecstatic to meet him in October.

Nicole loved to bake, clean and garden. She loved to decorate her home for all the Holidays, whether it be Halloween, Easter or Christmas. Nicole always made sure her house was decked out from top to bottom. She was always in the spirit.

Left to honor Nicole’s life is husband, Jason Goldman of New Prague: daughter, Adrienne (Alex Johnson) Warren of Bloomington, Rachel Goldman of New Prague; soon-to-be grandson, Mason; father, Charles Jandl of Jordan; siblings, Nancy Weckman of Belle Plaine, Kim (Chris) Ihle of Eagan, Cinda (Dan) Smith of Jordan, Laura (Tyler) DeGree of Henderson, Colby (Lindsay) Jandl of Jordan; mother-in-law, Rosanne Goldman; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Nicole & I became friends last year, when she came to my apartment to help me with my cleaning & homemaking chores; she was always cheerful, & weekly, filled me in on her daughters, & family. She also loved bringing me some of her home cooked dishes, which were always delicious. We became real friends and enjoyed chatting about a vast array of topics; I`ll miss her a lot, & I`m tryly saddened to have lost a GOOD FRIEND.

My sister’s and I are deeply saddened by this news. Even tho, I don’t know you guys well; You are my cousins. I was happy to have talked to Nicole at my mother’s funeral a couple years ago. I also learned a lot about Nicole on your facebooks. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. She was a beautiful person. I regret not being able to join you in celebrating her life; but I have to be in Chicago that day to be a guest on the Judge Mathis show. Sincerely, Nancy and sister’s Judi and Janine.

Condolence from Sandra Schadegg on September 15th, 2014 12:13 pm

I’m Sandra, a friend of all of Kim’s sisters, and her brother Colby’s wife, thanks to Kim introducing me to her close knit family many years ago.
Their weekly Sunday dinners back home and the many events they scheduled as a family throughout the year is a clear indication of how important they all are to each other. Kim first introduced me to Nicole, at a Holiday cookie bake. There is a theme here with the Jandl sisters. All of them are incredibly gracious and one of the many ways they show their love for others is via generous hospitality, of which I have been a fortunate recipient.

I’ve always enjoyed Nicole’s company very much and am deeply saddened by the loss of her.
