I’m sorry, my words are stuck behind a huge lump in my throat, the tears in my eyes and the ache in my heart … Ian, I remember the day you called to tell me that Micheal had been born, and the unmistakable sound of amazement, joy and especially the overwhelming love in your voice, the same sounds I heard every moment I shared with you and you wonderful family. Treasured son, brother, uncle, friend and just a great, great guy … we all wanted him to be with us forever, but nevertheless, our love and memories will endure, undiminished until the end of time.

We are so sorry for the devastating loss of Micheal. There are no words to describe the loss and pain that you are feeling . I will always have fond memories of the time I took a very young Micheal to Edinburgh Zoo , such a great day.

To Michael’s family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Michael at the movie theater. I loved to see him come to work. He did such a good job and was such a delight to work with. He loved his birds. He showed me videos of them and talked about them nonstop. I miss him every day at work.
