Condolence from Bill & Agnes Chard on November 25th, 2016 5:03 pm

Pat, Tim & Family,
Bill and I were sad to hear of Mary’s passing. Mary had the biggest , kindest ,caring heart in the world. She was always jolly and was a great neighbor. We had a lot of coffee and donuts together. I spoke to Mary on the Monday before she passed away and she never let on how she was feeling. She asked me when we were coming back and be sure to stop as we always did. I am going to miss her wisdom and laughter. Rest In Peace Mary.

Condolence from Tom Richards on November 28th, 2016 12:10 pm

Mary Murphy, my aunt, cared. She cared dearly about her family, relatives, friends, neighbors and countless others–especially in terms of their health.

Mary wanted to see everyone eat well and take good care of themselves. One way they could do this, she knew, is by growing some of their own healthful food in healthy garden soils. Mary was a strong advocate of organics, LONG before it became popular and entered the mainstream–inspiring many, including me. Perhaps one way we can honor her lifelong dedication and determination is by doing the best we can to take better care of ourselves as well as the land and water that sustains us all.

Thank you, Aunt Mary, for truly caring about us and the environment, and setting such an authentic example for us to learn from and even try to follow. You made a difference!
