Condolence from Carla Gudenkauf on January 3rd, 2020 6:55 pm

Condolence from David Dahl on January 3rd, 2020 7:19 pm

My Condolences to Mark’s Family.

Mark was a longtime, young age friend to me and a lot of people. We did Messiah Lutheran Church Sunday School & Cherub Choir (Mark’s Mom was the choir director), Washington Elementary School, Fargo Parks Baseball, White Earth Lutheran Bible Camps, Ben Franklin Junior High School, Messiah Lutheran Confirmation & retreats, Fargo North High School. From there everyone did their own 1,000 points of light and scattered! You could always count on Mark for a positive outlook on everything! What a Great Guy to have as a Friend!

Condolence from Tom and Sandie Bonnett on January 4th, 2020 11:20 am

Mark was my Attorney for many years, and more importantly my dear friend. He was a very special person, I trusted him , his honesty and integrity were beyond reproach. His sense of humor and incredible personality, just talking or meeting him for lunch, I will deeply miss. His smile was contagious. The world was a better place with him in it. To Jeri, Christine and all of his family, my profound sympathy and condolences.
Tom and Sandie Bonnett

Mark has been a friend of mine since 3rd grade and all the way through high school and after we graduated. In grade school, Mark was our strongest baseball player coach. He was a very excellent athlete in life. His death brings sorrow to me, but I totally believe he is living in Heaven with our lord and Savior, Jesus.

My sympathies to the entire Anderson family. I am so privileged to have intersected with the Andersons, who have been a presence throughout my life—though from afar at times. There has always been a bond, established through church, through Boy Scouts, through school and through the north side neighborhood that nurtured all of us. Very sorry for Mark’s family, the extended Anderson family, and all the friends, associates and acquaintances who Mark no doubt touched during his life and career. . .

My condolences to Jeri and the entire Anderson family. I feel very fortunate to have had Andy as my friend. I was lucky to have grown up a part of Andy’s little gang. You will be missed by many – Rest In Peace.

Jeri and Family – I’m so sorry for your loss. Although I didn’t know Mark well, I know the tremendous impact he had on his family’s life. He had been a rock for Arlene and my father-in-law JJ Feight. His love and support for them (and yours too, of course) over the years has created a bond with the Andersons that we Feight children will never forget. Our deepest sympathies.

Condolence from Pam johnson on January 5th, 2020 8:26 pm

Hugs and Sympathy for the whole family!

Condolence from Martha and Chris Nowatzki on January 5th, 2020 8:54 pm

Our families were (barely) grown when Mark’s dad and our mom died and when Arlene and JJ began their lives together. I was a childhood friend of Julie’s and have loved reconnecting. In recent years, as my dad has struggled with health problems, Mark and Jeri’s love and care for my dad and Arlene have put a giant lump in my throat multiple times—especially in the past few months. My dad may not be able to express how much he loved Mark but it is crystal clear in his eyes and his voice. Thank you so much Jeri. Our hearts break for you and your family. We hope you can, with time, find your way back to the laughter and joyful memories.

Condolence from Julie Ann Walvatne on January 6th, 2020 8:05 am

He always had a smile on his face and happiness radiated from his spirit! He will be missed at the reunion! You’re in my thoughts and prayers and may God’s loving arms wrap you in his mercy and grace thru these difficult days! God Bless You All!
Lovingly ,
Julie Ann Walvatne

Condolence from Kari Larson Teschendorf on January 6th, 2020 8:14 pm

DearAll,
I had the privilege of growing up in North Fargo with a cast of characters, Mark “Andy” Anderson had a leading role. I have and will always have fond memories of Andy and cherish the loyalty among our friends. He was big, loud, opinionated, relentless but fair …we had a lot in common! I regret never observing him in the courtroom as I suspect he carried those traits throughout his life.
Mark was a cherished friend.
My deepest sympathies to his family,
Love,,
Kari

Condolence from Kris Lahren on January 7th, 2020 5:58 pm

Although it’s been 30 years since our last contact, Andy and I shared some indelible memories and events. We were teammates at North and Concordia on the offensive line and were roommates freshman year at Concordia East Complex dorm. We would have pretty heated discussions on politics and culture and current events even though we usually agreed on those things! I told him before graduation that he would either be a lawyer or used car salesman! When we last connected he admitted I was right on both counts!
He was incredibly smart and talented. I know he will be missed by all.

Condolence from Roxanne C. Shaughnessy on January 7th, 2020 6:43 pm

Condolence from Pat Minelli on January 12th, 2020 9:55 pm

We were shocked to just learn of Mark’s passing. He represented us in a couple court matters. We met with him several times to discuss our legal issues, then would hang around and shoot the breeze for a couple extra hours — free of charge! He was an excellent attorney and an even better man. He often told me to stop by sometime and we’d have coffee. Our deepest sympathy to his family.

Condolence from Roberta Loeffler on January 16th, 2020 5:33 pm

Hi Jeri and family,

I was so very sorry to learn of Mark’s passing. My heartfelt condolences to all of you . After reading his obituary, it was obvious to all what an exceptional father, husband, grandfather, and friend he was to all. I remember him as a kind and funny man, who always seemed to be doing something to insure that his family had many fond memories and experiences ( I. E. , Halloween displays, playhouse, sports, etc.) It’s been many years since our years in Burnsville together, but I always remember ,fondly, the Anderson family, and my thoughts are with you all.

Condolence from Joyce Nentl and Brad Wallace on February 13th, 2020 9:23 am

It is to my surprise on February 13th, 2020 to hear about the passing of Mark Anderson. My short experience was he served as my attorney in a case I was having great difficulty with a gentleman friend of mine this past summer and actually ended up December 27th, 2019 blissfully and happily married to him! back together, we worked things out. We were going to stop in sometime this spring and let Mark know. Through a dear friend of mine Yvonne Minnelli who also had Mark as an attorney just shared the news with me this morning. To the family, were shocked. Christine, your father was so healthy…….I am so sorry for your loss. I know you enjoyed working with your father and will continue his legacy. I too lost my mother 11 years ago as an adult I sadly know how you feel. It was once told to me by our priest, “Death comes like winter, we know it’s coming but never prepared for it”. The only way I knew how to contend with my mother’s passing was that it was her time and that’s how you have to think of it.

Condolence from Carmen Anderson on February 14th, 2020 1:15 pm

On this first Valentine’s Day after Mark’s death, Mark’s dear wife, kids, grandchild and grandchild to be are in my thoughts. Mark was a wonderful big cousin to me. He played tirelessly with me as a kid, making me laugh and even agreeing to play princess with me when I’m sure he wanted to watch football. He was destined to be a great father and husband with his truly generous heart. The world lost someone very special when Mark died, but I know he’s up in Heaven with our dear grandparents and his dad watching down on all of those who he cared so deeply about here on Earth. My deepest sympathies on your loss and my apologies for my delay conveying it.
