Condolence Messages

  1. Mark was a big part of my life growing up. I am so sorry for your loss and wish you all peace during this difficult time.

  2. My Condolences to Mark’s Family.

Mark was a longtime, young age friend to me and a lot of people. We did Messiah Lutheran Church Sunday School & Cherub Choir (Mark’s Mom was the choir director), Washington Elementary School, Fargo Parks Baseball, White Earth Lutheran Bible Camps, Ben Franklin Junior High School, Messiah Lutheran Confirmation & retreats, Fargo North High School. From there everyone did their own 1,000 points of light and scattered! You could always count on Mark for a positive outlook on everything! What a Great Guy to have as a Friend!

    • Tom and Sandie Bonnett

Mark was my Attorney for many years, and more importantly my dear friend. He was a very special person, I trusted him , his honesty and integrity were beyond reproach. His sense of humor and incredible personality, just talking or meeting him for lunch, I will deeply miss. His smile was contagious. The world was a better place with him in it. To Jeri, Christine and all of his family, my profound sympathy and condolences.

    • I met Mark when I first got into the car business, we hit it off right away and became desk mates. From that day forward we became lifelong friends and buddies. Mark was one of a kind, from his one liners, quick comebacks to his ability to fix anything that requires a tool. A great Father, Husband, Brother, Son and Friend, Mark was absolutely the best! My deepest sympathies to Jeri and the family on your immeasurable loss, may he Rest In Peace

My deepest condolences to you and yours with Mark’s passing. I spent a lot of time with Mark as a lad; he was a great friend. He will be missed.
    My prayers are with you.

  6. Mark has been a friend of mine since 3rd grade and all the way through high school and after we graduated. In grade school, Mark was our strongest baseball player coach. He was a very excellent athlete in life. His death brings sorrow to me, but I totally believe he is living in Heaven with our lord and Savior, Jesus.

  7. Jeri and family, I’m so very sorry for your loss. Hugs and prayers to all of you.

  8. To all of Mark’s family I send my deepest condolences. He was one of my best friends growing up. Played sports together and had a lot of good times. His family was always welcoming to all of his friends. He was always a sounding board for advice and friendship. My thoughts are with you all and hope to see you soon. Your friend Blaine

  9. My sympathies to the entire Anderson family. I am so privileged to have intersected with the Andersons, who have been a presence throughout my life—though from afar at times. There has always been a bond, established through church, through Boy Scouts, through school and through the north side neighborhood that nurtured all of us. Very sorry for Mark’s family, the extended Anderson family, and all the friends, associates and acquaintances who Mark no doubt touched during his life and career. . .

  10. Sharron (Sam Mikula) Carmell

I am another 1980 classmate of Marks… I remember he always had a big smile on his face and always had kind words for everyone. He will be missed at the reunion by many. May your happy memories of him get you through this time of sadness. You are all in my prayers..…Sam Mikula

  12. My condolences to Jeri and the entire Anderson family. I feel very fortunate to have had Andy as my friend. I was lucky to have grown up a part of Andy’s little gang. I have many wonderful memories of Andy’s family and their home. Also I have great memories of spending time with Andy at Elephant Park, camping and playing baseball (Muscatell Manglers).
You will be missed by many – Rest In Peace.

Our deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers to all of your family.

  14. Michelle Watson & Heidi Kostelac

Our deepest sympathies to the entire family. Although we both have only known Mark as our attorney for a short while he has made a lasting impact on us both. He was a wonderful human, we loved everything about him.

We will deeply miss him. We send our prayers to the entire family during this difficult time.

  15. Carol and Brian Feight

Jeri and Family – I’m so sorry for your loss. Although I didn’t know Mark well, I know the tremendous impact he had on his family’s life. He had been a rock for Arlene and my father-in-law JJ Feight. His love and support for them (and yours too, of course) over the years has created a bond with the Andersons that we Feight children will never forget. Our deepest sympathies.

  16. Hugs and Sympathy for the whole family!

  17. Martha and Chris Nowatzki

Our families were (barely) grown when Mark’s dad and our mom died and when Arlene and JJ began their lives together. I was a childhood friend of Julie’s and have loved reconnecting. In recent years, as my dad has struggled with health problems, Mark and Jeri’s love and care for my dad and Arlene have put a giant lump in my throat multiple times—especially in the past few months. My dad may not be able to express how much he loved Mark but it is crystal clear in his eyes and his voice. Thank you so much Jeri. Our hearts break for you and your family. We hope you can, with time, find your way back to the laughter and joyful memories.

  18. Julie Ann Walvatne

My deepest heartfelt sympathies to Jeri and the whole Anderson family! I went to school with Mark and he always was such a genuinely kind soul. He always had a smile on his face and happiness radiated from his spirit! He will be missed at the reunion! You’re in my thoughts and prayers and may God’s loving arms wrap you in his mercy and grace thru these difficult days! God Bless You All!
    Lovingly ,
    Julie Ann Walvatne

  19. Mark will be missed by all of us at the Prior Lake Chamber and the Prior Lake legal field won’t feel the same without him. Seems unfair to lose such a great man much too early. We will send prayers and hope for his family and friends to lift them up during this sad time.

  24. Kari Larson Teschendorf

    DearAll,
I had the privilege of growing up in North Fargo with a cast of characters, Mark “Andy” Anderson had a leading role. I have and will always have fond memories of Andy and cherish the loyalty among our friends. He was big, loud, opinionated, relentless but fair …we had a lot in common! I regret never observing him in the courtroom as I suspect he carried those traits throughout his life.
    Mark was a cherished friend.
My deepest sympathies to his family,
    Love,,
    Kari

As time went on best friends has a title I’d have to share with many more people because Mark was that kind of guy. Mark was a leader and being that had a big following wether that was Boy Scouts, Sports or Just hanging out with friends. Even though we may have lost you h over the years it leaves a big hole in my heart to hear of his passing I cannot imagine what it’s been for you and your family. 30. Dre and Jay Gustafson

We are devastated hearing the news of Mark’s passing. We enjoyed kicking back a couple Mich Golden Lights to talk about family, neighborhood stuff, politics (Dre), home projects and sports.

  34. I am so sorry for your loss. I had only one or two cases with Mark over the years, but he was a true professional and good human being.

  35. Mark truly made a difference in so many lives. I am thankful to have had the opportunity of knowing him and sharing great conversations through the years.
I am deeply sorrowed by this loss.
Please accept my warmest condolences during this difficult time.

  36. Although it’s been 30 years since our last contact, Andy and I shared some indelible memories and events. We were teammates at North and Concordia on the offensive line and were roommates freshman year at Concordia East Complex dorm. We would have pretty heated discussions on politics and culture and current events even though we usually agreed on those things! I told him before graduation that he would either be a lawyer or used car salesman! When we last connected he admitted I was right on both counts!
He was incredibly smart and talented. I know he will be missed by all.

He often told me to stop by sometime and we’d have coffee. Our deepest sympathy to his family.

  47. Roberta Loeffler

    Hi Jeri and family,

I was so very sorry to learn of Mark’s passing. My heartfelt condolences to all of you . After reading his obituary, it was obvious to all what an exceptional father, husband, grandfather, and friend he was to all. I remember him as a kind and funny man, who always seemed to be doing something to insure that his family had many fond memories and experiences ( I. E. , Halloween displays, playhouse, sports, etc.) It’s been many years since our years in Burnsville together, but I always remember ,fondly, the Anderson family, and my thoughts are with you all.
