On April 8, 1944, Linda Lou Hall was born to parents Levi & Barbara (Wicorek) Hall. Linda was the youngest of 12 children. She loved growing up on the family farm in Munich, North Dakota. She really enjoyed spending time with the horses and all the other animals on the farm.

Linda graduated from Munich High School in 1963. Following graduation, she moved to Minnesota to attend cosmetology school. Linda began cutting hair in Minneapolis and quickly made Minnesota her home.

Along the way she met a handsome young man named James Schuster. Linda & Jim’s love grew quickly, and they exchanged wedding vows on March 8, 1971. Their marriage was blessed with two children, John & Jackie. They settled on a beautiful piece of land in Lydia to raise their family.

As a family, they went fishing, took family road trips and visited extended family in North Dakota. They also enjoyed time in the flower and vegetable gardens. When the kids were older, Linda worked for a local fund-raising group. She also cut hair out of her home and began making soups and chilis for Country Prime Time in Lydia. Linda was a wonderful cook, and she also enjoyed canning the vegetables she grew. Linda loved bowling and was on a bowling league for many years. She also enjoyed spending time with her cats.

Linda was a woman of strong faith who knew the importance of family. She will be remembered always by her children, John Schuster and Jackie (Kevin Wenisch) Schuster; siblings, Mary Schmiess, Janice Buchweitz, Marlyn Kertz; many nieces & nephews, great- nieces & nephews, and great- great- nieces & nephews. Linda and my Mom were roommates at St. Gerts for a long time. Linda was so nice and always friendly when we would visit. Linda would tell mom that when they got out of St. Gerts they were going to “go out on the town”! My mom passed away 4 days after Linda, I can only assume that they are out on the town! Probably bowling as my mom was also an avid bowler. God Bless you in your time of sorrow.
