LaDena A. Hazzard, age 77, passed away peaceful from complications of a recent stroke, on Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at Golden Living Center – Hillcrest of Wayzata, in Wayzata, MN.
A Celebration of Life Service honoring LaDena will be on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 11am, with visitation two hours prior, all at Friendship Church 12800 Marystown Road, Shakopee. Pastor Mike Golay and Keith Missel will preside. Her grandsons, Adam, Chris, Alex, Jacob, Nick, Cameron and Sean will be pall bearers.
In St. Paul, Minnesota on January 21, 1938, LaDena was born to parents John Loren and Deloris Mae (Knafla) Derauf. She married Donald Hazzard on November 7, 1961, in St. Paul, MN. They were blessed with five children.
Forever missed and loved by children, Michael Hazzard, Ruth Novak, Charlie (Jessica) Hazzard, Sam (Tammy) Hazzard; grandchildren, Stacy, Becky, Ellie, Abby, Adam, Ashley, Amanda, Chris, Alex, Jacob, Al, Sam, Nick, Cameron, Sean; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Marilyn (Richard) Nelson, John Derauf, Lolly Fread, Gayle Braun, Wesley (Andrea) Derauf; other relatives and friends.
LaDena was welcomed in heaven and into the arms of Jesus. Preceded in death by husband, Donald; daughter, Laurie Hazzard; and parents, John and Deloris Derauf and sister, Sande Melby.
The Hazzard family requests that you dress comfortably for the Visitation and Celebration of Life Service.

My heart aches for ladenas family, I know how much she was loved. She was a very special person and God has another angel in heaven.

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Ladena was a great woman. She was like a mom to me for awhile. I am a better person for having had Ladena in my life. Thank you for sharing her with me in my younger days. God bless
