I met Jon is 1965. We had many shared PR encounters as I was a reporter on the Minneapolis Tribune and did PR for Dayton’s while he was at Padilla and Speer. He was creative, always prepared and easy to work with. I have Jon to thank for my PR job with the Ice Follies as he introduced me to company officials. So sorry to read his distinguished career of service has come to an end.

Sally and family, so very sorry to hear about Jon’s passing. We will always remember him as a true gentleman and gentle man. He was so kind to us and always had a smile and a story to share. His presence as a starter at Ridges always set the right tone for a golfer’s round – he was welcoming, informative, had a warm smile and a wonderful voice. We will miss seeing him on the patio for one of your lunches or dinners. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
