Joanne Fischer, age 89, of Prior Lake, Minnesota, peacefully passed away November 7, 2019, of natural causes at Friendship Manor in Shakopee, Minnesota. She grew up in Glen Ullin, North Dakota and moved to Minnesota in 1960. Joanne enjoyed bowling, gardening especially flowers, baking, and bird watching, also the animals she had in Prior Lake of chickens, ducks, wild turkeys, a few horses, cats and dogs and her latest cat “BoBo”.
Joanne is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Fischer; daughter, Renee Jefferson; parents August and Anna Kinnischtzke; brother and sister-in-law, Leroy and Bernice, and brother, Dale. She is survived by her children, Connie Burandt, James Fischer, Denise Fischer; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She will be laid to rest at Credit River Cemetery at a private family celebration of life on her 90th birthday in the spring.
