Gloria “Glory” Enger, age 77, of Prior Lake, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2022 surrounded by her family. A Visitation will be held at Ballard-Sunder Funeral and Cremation in Prior Lake, on January 20, from 4-6pm.

On April 10, 1944, Glory was born to John and Hilda Mueller. She was born and raised on the family farm in Credit River. The youngest of three, Glory was close to her brother Delmar and sister Jeannie.

After high school, Glory married and gave birth to her son Randy and devoted her whole world to him. Her son was only 2 when she divorced Randy’s father, and she became a single mother. For the next 8 years, she worked 2 jobs at various restaurants and bars like the B&D Prior Lake. She met and married Don when Randy was 10 but tragically, Don passed away a few years after their marriage, leaving Glory and Randy by themselves once again. She then started working primarily as a dispatcher for Meyer Trucking and helping them with their bookkeeping. She spent over 25 years at Meyer Trucking. Once she got home from work, she loved cheering on Randy at his various athletic games, where she brought her “cowbell”, so everyone knew she was there! She loved all animals, and even had a raccoon at one point!

Later in her life, she met Duane Jorgenson. Glory took amazing care of their 3.5 acres of lawn and did it on her beloved John Deere tractor. Glory LOVED to shop, especially at Menards (she even had “her” personal salesperson!). She was always shopping for solar lights and various decorations for her flower gardens, and much to Randy’s wife’s chagrin, for Randy’s yard too! She loved ALL holidays, but Christmas was her favorite. She loved buying gifts for family & friends (you had to be careful when you told her if you liked something, the next thing you would know she had bought it for you!). She liked to make her ‘famous dressing’ every holiday season. She adored all her nieces and nephews and had close relationships with them.

Strong-willed, feisty, and selfless, Glory will be greatly missed by her son, Randy Enger and his wife Jacquie; Grandson, Mason Enger (Sofia); Brother-in-Law, Jerry Hafermann; Sister-in-Law, Linda Mueller; Lifelong Friend, Betty Rahbain, and close friends: The Siebert family. Glory is Preceded in death by her Parents, John and Hilda Mueller; Siblings, Delmar Mueller and Jeannette Hafermann; Nieces, Dianne Boyd and Nettie Hafermann Plunkett and Special Friends, Duane Jorgenson, Marlys Siebert, and Russell.
