Elaine Marie Zink, age 88, of Shakopee, MN, passed away peaceful on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Augustana Health Care Center in Apple Valley, MN.
A time of gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 18, from 5-7 pm, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, 833 South Marschall Road, Shakopee. Elaine will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Wednesday, September 19 at 10:35 am. Pall bearers will be her grandsons.
Elaine was born on January 18, 1930 to parents, Francis and Ginny (Seinola) Kahn. She married Gerald Zink and they had three sons, Val, Jerry and Bill. Elaine loved to play bingo, serving people and being surrounded by her family.
Forever missed and loved by children, Val Zink, Jerry Zink, Bill (Sandy) Zink; grandchildren, Nick (Jenel) Zink, Kevin Zink, Curtis Zink, Chris Zink, Cody Zink, Tyler Zink; many great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Elaine was welcomed home in Heaven by beloved husband, Gerald; grandson, Nathan Zink; parents, Francis and Ginny Kahn; 4 brothers and 1 sister.
