Dave and I were good friends in our early years, grade school and high school. We spent many days together playing in our neighborhood, we lived on the same block. He was a good centerfielder on our high school team, not many balls got by him. Dave will also be remembered as Chief Shakopee in high school.
May Dave rest in peace and condolences to the Thul family.

Sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. Dave was such great classmate in high school. Though we didn’t see him much after high school, we never forgot him, and what a fun and caring person he was.

I went to school with Dave through grade school and high school. He was a lefty and had the best penmanship and he could draw anything. Dave was friendly and always had a smile for everyone. He was a great guy. I live in Az. for 51 yrs. now so I haven’t been around Dave since high school. All of you have my sympathy and prayers.

I feel so bad for all of Dave’s family. My brother Ben always spoke so highly of Dave. My husband Ron remembered instantly that Dave was Chief Shakopee. I was in the class behind Dave & I didn’t know that he was left-handed & my husband remembered playing baseball with him. Much sympathy to all of you. He was a great guy.
