Dan Geis, age 43 of Jordan, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 14, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 11:00AM. Visitation will be held from 9AM – 11AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 215 Broadway St. N. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Dan was an employee of Herman’s Landscaping for 25 years. He enjoyed fixing and restoring machinery, especially tractors. Dan loved the outdoors, nature, and also antique outings. His great nieces and nephews were always spoiled by their uncle. He was loved by his many friends and his work family at Herman’s. Dan was a great man who always was there to lend a helping hand to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his mother, LaVerne Geis; sister, Dawn (Paul) Tuttle; sister-in-law, Jayne Geis; nieces and nephews, Jessica (Matt) Schaefer, Amy (Ryan) Hansen, Andrew Geis, Emily Geis; great-nieces and nephew, Lucy Schaefer, Charlie Schaefer, Paige Hansen, and Hannah Sickmann.
There to greet Dan in heaven is his father, Bud Geis, and brother, Mike Geis.

Heart breaking news. My heart goes out to the entire Geis family during this difficult time. Dan was a good man and I am grateful to have so many wonderful memories of growing up together. He will be missed by many.
