Often Carol could be found in her flower garden, knitting, crocheting, or out with her bowling league.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Lucille Thorson; brother, Robert Thorson; niece, Wendy Thorson, and sister, Constance (Thorson) Johnson.

Dear Family of Carol Freddie Mix,
I am so sad to learn of your loss. I have only had the opportunity to meet Carol through how she raised one of her children that I have had the privilege to work with. I know how special she was from conversations we have had about the meaning of families. My families thoughts and prayers are with your family in this difficult time.
Corinthians 1:3–4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
