On February 3, 1975 in Edina, MN, parents Joe and Glenda (Strum) Wise celebrated the birth of their only child Brandon Donahue Wise. Growing up in Prior Lake, Brandon loved everything the town had to offer—swimming, waterskiing, and snowmobiling. A proud Minnesotan, Brandon was also a lifelong Vikings fan!
Brandon attended school at St. Michael’s Catholic School and later graduated from Prior Lake Highschool in 1993. He continued his education at Mankato State where he earned a bachelor’s in business.
In recent years, Brandon met Meagan Reineke and the two quickly fell in love. On Valentine’s day of 2019, Brandon and Meagan were united in marriage. This began a new chapter in Brandon’s life. He was an amazing husband and the perfect father. Brandon was especially excited to carry on family traditions with his son, Trexton.
When he wasn’t at work, Brandon enjoyed spending time with his family. Whether it was checking in on his dad Joe or traveling to see his in-laws, Brandon always made time for family. He was a good listener, had a great sense of humor, and a quiet faith.
Brandon is loved and missed by his wife, Meagan Wise and their son, Trexton Wise Reineke; father, Joe Wise; many aunts, uncles, and other loving relatives.
Brandon is greeted in Heaven by his mother, Glenda Wise.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. It is so hard to believe that Brandon is gone. He seemed to be such a caring person. Our son Matthew went to St. Michael’s School with him. When they got into high school, they always talked on CB’s to and from school. May he Rest In Peace!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this saddest of times.
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember hanging out with Brandon when we were young when I would be at Jacki Carlson’s house with my parents. We then moved to Prior Lake where Brandon and I were classmates. I enjoyed seeing Brandon being a proud dad and husband on FB. My thoughts are with his wife, son and Dad during this difficult time.

Meagan,
I’m so happy to have connected with you as family, so sorry of the consequences. Love to you and Trexton. Big hug to uncle Joe too.
I’ll never forget our trips to Prior Lake every summer visiting Brandon, Joe and Glenda. Going out on the lake in the boat or spending time in the game room playing Super Nintendo with Brandon were some of my fondest memories. So much Sim City! He taught me how to water ski. One and only time but I did it thanks to his encouragement. He also introduced me to a band called Jackyl. Imagine hard rock with a chainsaw as an instrument. I’ll never forget those summers in Minnesota. May Brandon rest in peace.
I am so sorry for your loss. You and Trexton are in my thoughts and prayers!

Take care and know you are loved and Brandon is with our Lord in Heaven.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all
I knew of Brandon from high school but he was a grade ahead of me so I didn’t really get to know him that well until I started working as a lifeguard at the Beach in PL . I was going to be attending Mankato, and found out he was going to school there as well. We started hanging out a bit and when I got to Mankato he really took me under his wing as a Freshman. I had so many great times with Brandon. I’m really going to miss him. My condolences to his family.
I am so sorry to hear this news.
I knew Brandon from college at MSU. I was one of his room mates for several years. He was a good friend, and I have many fond memories from those days.
My prayers are with his family, wife, and son.
Brandon you will be missed.
Rest In Peace my friend.
I am so saddened to hear about Brandon’s passing. I knew him well when he was at MSU. He was my son’s dads roommate there. So many memories that feel like just yesterday.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all Brandon’s family and friends
I was Brandon’s roommate in college for quite a few years. He was a good friend to have around, and I will always cherish the memories I have of him. My condolences go out to his family. He will be missed.
I was so shocked to read about Brandon’s passing. I worked with him at North American Membership Group years ago and always remember Brandon as a hard worker and very knowledgeable. My sympathies go out to his wife and darling little boy. May he Rest In Peace
Meagan and family,
So sorry to hear of your loss. Sending thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
My prayers are with the the Wise family. Back in 1982 Brandon and I were teammates on a PLAY baseball team. It seems like yesterday , but I remember cheering for him as he hit a single into right field. By 1987 we would become teammates again for the St. Michael’s basketball team in Prior Lake . Brandon always had encouraging words for his teammates and always had the spirit to play hard . Brandon was to kind to all . Many blessings to his family. From Matthew Herdt

I’m so sorry to hear the passing of Brandon. I went to school with him at St. Michael’s. Brandon was always so kind. I remember him being such a fast runner. He was so good in all sports. In high school I remember him pulling in the parking lot in his sports car. In recent months I loved watching him be a dad. I could tell he was just so proud of his son. Trexton resembles him so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Katie (Zweber) DeGross
