Bill and Donna Cates’ family will be honoring their passing with a Memorial Service on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 11 am, with a time of gathering from 9:30-11am, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 16400 Duluth Avenue SE, Prior Lake, MN. Deacon Terry Beer will preside, with military honors provided by the Prior Lake VFW Honor Guard.

William Francis was born on July 18, 1926, and entered eternal life at the age of 93, on June 13, 2020. His beloved wife LaDonna Marie was born on May 17, 1929, and entered eternal life on September 19, 2015, at the age of 86. Bill and Donna spent most of their life living in Canada.

Bill and Donna will be forever loved by children, Stephen (Jacqueline) Cates, Cynthia Cates, Kathleen (Jock Hobson) Cates, James Cates, Barb Cates, Michelle (Dallas Tetarenko) Cates; grandchildren, Joel Cates, Ryan Kendall, Zoe Parker Cates, Connor Parker Cates; Bill’s siblings, Kate Schrader, Larry (Betty) Cates; Bill’s sister-in-law, Pat Cates; and other relatives and friends.

They were greeted in Heaven by their parents, siblings, and extended family.
