Andrea “Andi” Moline
On Wednesday, November 6th, 1957, in Minneapolis, MN, Andrea Lynn was born to David and Nancy (Ewert) Moline. She was the first of two children. Four years later, Andi’s “big little” brother David was born.

The family lived in Richfield before moving to Burnsville in 1966. At the age of 10, Andi started competing in gymnastics. She was an accomplished gymnast, earned a national ranking of 21st in the country and was invited to the Junior Olympics.

Andi graduated from Burnsville High School in 1976. Her brother nicknamed her the “party director” of the class of “76”. After high school, Andi went to work at a printing shop, where she met the love of her life, Chuck Rolfes. In 1983, they married in Minneapolis surrounded by family and friends. Andi then became a mother to her son Brandon and 2 years later to her daughter Sara.

Andi and her family enjoyed the outdoors. Whether it was their yearly skiing trips to Lutsen or weekend trips to the cabin, she loved being outside and in the sun. Andi had a love for music and partying with her friends and family. She had a big heart and always opened her home to others, making people feel very welcomed. Andi loved animals, growing up with dogs and eventually rescuing 3 cats, which she loved dearly. Andi was also a great mother and had a strong, close, and loving relationship with her children.

Deeply missed and remembered always by those who loved Andi, children, Brandon Rolfes of Eden Prairie and Sara (Zach Chazin, fiancé) Rolfes of Eden Prairie; former husband, Chuck Rolfes; parents, David & Nancy (Ewert) Moline; brother, David (Lori) Moline of Prior Lake; nephews, Timmy Moline (godson) and Tyler Moline of Prior Lake; Sneakers and Smokey her “kitties” and other loving relatives and devoted friends.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, January 29, from 4-7 with a service at 7 PM, all at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home 833 Marschall Rd, Shakopee. A light supper will be served following the service. Father Robert Rolfes will preside.

The Moline/Rolfes family is served with honor, care and compassion by Ballard-Sunder Funeral home and Cremation Services, Shakopee Chapel.
