Amber Wade, age 36 of Savage, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 13th, 2022. A Celebration of Amber’s life will be held at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, 833 Marschall Rd, Shakopee, on Thursday, June 23rd at 4 PM. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
Amber was born December 6, 1985 in Shakopee, MN. She graduated from Prior Lake High School in 2004. The greatest pride in her life was the birth of her daughter Emma.
Amber was our hero, at the age of 23 she was diagnosed with brain cancer and endured a long battle. During this period of time she inspired us all with her dedication and ambition to graduate as a registered therapist. Her strength came to her through her pride in her daughter Emma. She above all loved family and God. She loved to read, enjoyed music, traveling, and scrapbooking and cherished all of the holidays with family. Our family has lost an extraordinary woman, she was as beautiful on the inside and as she was on the outside. Amber will be missed “more than tongue can tell” by all who loved her.
Amber will be forever missed by her daughter, Emma; parents, Charlie and Shelley Wade; brother, Corey (Natalia) Wade; Sister, Kelsey Wade; grandparents, Trish and Doug Stelten; grandmother, Kim Bielenberg; and many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by grandmother, Betty Wade, grandfather, Raymond Stark and her great-grandparents.
Offer Condolence for the family of Amber Wade
Print Obituary & CondolencesMy heart breaks for poor Emma. I was so saddened to hear of Amber’s passing. She was so quick to help others. I pray for her family and I pray that Emma has the strength her mother had to get through this impossible time.
My thoughts go out to Emma and the rest of the family and friends of Amber. I wish I could have met Amber. What she achieved during her short life is inspiring to many. Raising a daughter, going to school to be a registered therapist, having the time to be with family, all the while fighting against cancer. I can tell she was full of love. Amber is a beautiful person and I respect her.
Amber and my daughter Shannon Dahlberg both graduated from Prior Lake H.S. for the class of 2004 (new high school’s 1st graduating class). I lost Shannon at age 32 to an illness. I have a feeling that I know how you might feel. But when you think Amber, try to think of the happy times. I am sorry for your loss, but she will always be with you.
Mark Dahlberg

Charlie, Shelly Corey and Emma, I am so deeply sorry for your loss of your beautiful daughter, sister and mother. What an amazing and strong woman she was, I can see why you are all so very proud. Prayers and thoughts are with you now and always- We love you guys- Here if you need anything at all.
Love you
Love you Tracy.
Dear Emma, Charlie, Shelley, Corey, Kelsey and family. I was so heartbroken to hear the news that Amber had passed away. This has to be the toughest thing to go through and I hope that your hearts will heal knowing that Amber is still with you guys. I wish I could have met Amber, but it seems I got to know her through reading her messages she used to post on Caringbridge. She was always so brave & positive and so proud of what she had battled and beaten. But it was always so great to hear/read how proud she was of her daughter Emma & her family.
Amber will always live on through you and time will hopefully be able to help heal your hearts. Keep all the wonderful memories and God Bless you all.
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day….”
We are so sorry for this great loss. Saying prayers to comfort the Wade family during this sorrowful time.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. May she sour with the angels.
I “met” Amber when we were pregnant with our babies. It has been my complete privilege to watch as Amber fought so hard and absolutely adore Emma. May Emma always know her Mama loved and adored her beyond measure.
