Alec Mason Spesard passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014 at the age of 23. A gathering of family and friends is Friday, September 26, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, Prior Lake. The Celebration of Life Service is Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM with visitation one hour prior at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, Prior Lake. Jean Breeggemann will be the memorial celebrant.
Alec was born on September 29, 1990 in Enterprise Alabama to parents Anntonette Lemna Geffre and Col. Grant Spesard. He attended Normandale Community College and Texas Christian University where he participated in ROTC. His first attempt to join the Air Force was when he was only eight years old. Alec married the love of his life, Alicia Boucher, on September 7, 2014. He was a loving husband to Alicia. Alec was an accomplished artist and had a goal of one day becoming a police officer. Alec was funny and kind. When he smiled at you, it was a warm blessing.
Alec was a loving husband, son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle and an especially good and loving cousin to all the little ones. He will be forever missed and never forgotten by his loving family. Left to mourn Alec’s death is his wife, Alicia Boucher; step-sons, Aiden and Ethan; mother, Anntonette Lemna Geffre; father, Grant Spesard; siblings, Austen Lemna and Gwenyth Geffre; grandparents, Judith Lemna, Gary and Bari Spesard; many aunts, uncles and cousins; other loving relatives and friends. Alec was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert J. Lemna.

Toni, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Alec as such a wonderful friend to Nick and a loving son to you. He, Nick and Dale used to hang at the Napa. I am soooo sorry. Please know that I would love to have you come to the farm (no milking cows) but I am here. Please consider if you would like.

Grant, Austen, Toni & Gwenyth- What I remember most about Alec is how much he loved and adored all of you. I am so sorry you all have lost such an amazing young man way too soon. He was such a brilliant & sweet & just extraordinary in every way kind of person. Always so sweet to me, always a true gentlemen even at a young age! He will be so deeply missed. Praying for all of you. I am so sorry.
Many many prayers are being sent out for the Family & Friends of Alec.
As a Mom of one of Alec’s friends, I remember how enjoyable and unique Alec was. He has that special way of lighting up a room with his presence. I have sweet memories of him being over at our house hanging out with my son and their friends.
May Peace be found during this time.
Grant and family, I am so very sorry. My heart just breaks for you. Alec was a very special young man and I know you will miss him terribly. We are praying for you for strength, comfort, peace and healing.
