Alden Reed Starkey, age 85, of Apple Valley, MN, left God’s Waiting Room and entered the Room that was prepared for him, by His Heavenly Father on November 10, 2020. He was born in Brandon, WI on April 28, 1935.
“In My Father’s house are many places; If it were not so I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you” John 14:2
A Celebration of Life will be held honoring Alden on Thursday, November 19, at 11 am, with a time of gathering from 10-10:50 am, at Trinity Church, 10658 210th Street West, Lakeville, MN. He will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, in Minneapolis, MN, on Friday, November 20 at 9:30 am. Military honors will be provided by the Fort Snelling Volunteer Rifle Squad. Memorials are preferred and will be distributed to three ministries that were important to Alden. Sympathy cards can be addressed to Alden’s family and mailed to Trinity Church.
Alden leaves his wife Barbara of Apple Valley, MN; daughter, Heather Lee and her children Ryan and Zoe of Denver, CO; son, Sean Starkey and wife Rebecca and their children Jackson, Wesley, Elise and Evelyn of Lakeville, MN.
Alden is preceded in death by his parents, Earle and Lorene (Loos) Starkey.

I had the pleasure of working with Alden, for the past 20 years. He was one of those special people, that you enjoyed talking with. No issue was to big or to small, I trusted Alden with many of my orders. He will missed, I will miss talking to him, until we meet again!

I was saddened to hear of Alden’s passing. I worked with him for many years at numerous companies and he was always a true professional and colleague. I always enjoyed working with Alden and considered him a good friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
