Maureen F. Stocker Maureen F. (Scheffler) Stocker age 76 of Jordan passed away on Monday, July 7th at The Gardens at St. Gertrude’s in Shakopee.
Maureen was born on January 13, 1932 at Minneapolis. Her parents were Martin F. & Angela S. (Dyer) Beckman.
She married LeRoy Scheffler on December 27th 1955 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan. LeRoy died Sept 28, 1974. Maureen married Thomas Stocker on April 30, 1982 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan. Thomas died November 7, 2004.
She is survived by children; Carol Scheffler of Jordan, John (Nancy Smith) Scheffler of San Francisco, CA, Kathy (Patrick) Witherow of Eden Prairie, Pete ( Wendy) Scheffler of Granite Falls, Anne (Joe) Seifert of Shakopee, 11 grandchildren; Robert, Ali & Sam Scheffler, Christian Witherow, Kate, Angie & Maggie Scheffler, Tom, Paul, Joe & Mary Seifert, brother; Marty (Rita) Beckman of Plymouth, sister; Carol Summers of St. Paul.
Maureen is preceded in death by husbands LeRoy Scheffler & Thomas Stocker, parents and a granddaughter.
Maureen was a graduate of the College of St. Catherine, She was a member of Scott County home Extension, the Christian Mothers Society, the Ladies VFW Auxiliary and she was a Cub Scout Den Mother.
She liked flower gardens, collecting antiques, playing cards, crossword puzzles, music and dancing. She was a very accomplished seamstress. Maureen enjoyed traveling especially to the North Shore.
Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, July 12th, 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Jordan with visitation at the church from 9 till 11 AM.
Interment Calvary Cemetery, Jordan.
