Marian G. Sneed Marian Gladys (Kimpe) Sneed age 84 of Prior Lake, MN passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2007 at her daughter’s home. Marian was born December 8, 1922 at Princeton, IL to Arthur and Esther (Johnson) Norene
Survived by children: Frank (Norma) Henefield of Blooming Prairie, MN, Steve (Pam) Henefield of Green Valley, AZ, Joanne (Myron) Henrickson of Lakeville, Maureen (Scott) Spahn of Philadelphia, Norene (Rich) Chavez of St. Cloud; 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; sisters: Fern (Russ) Wingo of Davenport, IA, Ruth Edlefson of Princeton, IL, Doris (Bob) Walton of Delphi, IN, Annette (Leo) Peterson of Dixon, IL
Preceded by her husbands Jerome Kimpe & Ephfrom “Cay” Sneed ; her parents; granddaughter: Lindsey Spahn; brother-in-law: Bob Edlefson
Visitation is Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, 5-8 PM at the Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Prior Lake, MN also one hour prior the service at church on Saturday
Funeral Service is Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, 11 AM, Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church, (new address 3611 North Berens Road NW) Prior Lake, MN with the Rev. Kenneth Kotzer presiding.
Interment: Monday, Nov. 26th, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN
Pallbearers are Traci Braaten, Eric Henefield, Joe Henefield, Jeff Henrickson, Mike Henrickson, Kyle Spahn, Carrie Determan
Marian was a nurse and a 1944 graduate of Augustana School of Nursing in Chicago, IL. Marian served our country in the US Army.
