Manie Gensmer age 97 of Prior Lake formerly of Altura, MN  passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Shakopee, MN.

Manie was born: Aug. 15, 1910 in Gretinger, IA

to parents Frank and Amy (Brooks) Craven

 

She married Raymond Gensmers on June 14, 1932 at the Norton Lutheran Church in Winona County

 

Loved and forever missed by her son, Larry (Kim) Gensmer of Prior Lake, MN; grandchildren: Alissa Gensmer of Cape Coral, FL, Beau Gensmer of Prior Lake, MN; great grandson: Maddox; brother: Charlie Craven of CA

 

Preceded by: her husband, Raymond; her parents, siblings, Bessie, Jessie, McKinley, Clarence and George

 

Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, 10 –11 AM, Jehovah Lutheran Church, Altura, MN with the Rev. Michael Lindemann presiding.

 

Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM

 

Final Resting Place will be Trinity Cemetery, Norton Township

 

Pallbearers will be Jeff Lisowski, Matt Lisowski, Ray Lisowski, Alissa Gensmer, Beau Gensmer, Clarence Craven

 

Manie owned and operated Klip & Curl Beauty Salon in Altura, MN  She loved gardening, fishing and being outdoors.  She was a 60 plus year resident of Altura, MN
