Kevin K. Bembenek Kevin Bembenek, 49, of Prior Lake, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007. Kevin was born in Gaylord, Minn. March 3, 1958 to Erich and Elsie (Hahn) Bembenek. He and Danette (White) Bembenek were married April 22, 1990 in Hawaii. They were blessed with two children, Kaitlin and Garrett. Kevin was a U.P.S. driver for 30 years. He loved the outdoors and hunting to include training his dogs. Kevin was an avid reader, enjoyed history, water skiing and woodworking. He was an instructor for 4H Shooting Sports and a member of the Minneapolis Gun Club. He also supported Pheasants Forever and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Loved and forever missed by his loving wife, Danette; children, Kaitlin, 14 and Garrett, 10; mother, Elsie Bembenek of Gaylord; sisters, Jan Barosh of Hawaii, Sandra (Richard) Weckwerth of Gaylord, Vernette (Steve) Mehlhop of Gaylord; many nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Erich Bembenek and brother, Marlin. Visitation is Sunday, Sept. 9 from 4-8 p.m. at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Prior Lake and also one hour prior to the service at church on Monday.
