Elaine Borchardt Elaine E. Borchardt age: 88 of : Prior Lake, MN
Elaine passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2008 at her home.
She was born Feb. 9, 1920 to parents Fred and Mary (Radanke) Will in Spring Lake Township.
She married Melvin K. Borchardt on May 20, 1941 at the Fish Lake Immanuel Lutheran Church in Prior Lake, MN.
Loved and forever missed by her children: Carol (George) Douglas of Colorado Springs, CO, Wayne (Marcy) Borchardt of Prior Lake, MN, Cheryl (Gerald) Zahn of Eden Prairie, MN, Connie (Dan) Hviding of Apple Valley, MN; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Reinhard (Helen) Will of Jordan and Wendell Will of Shakopee
Preceded by: her husband, Melvin, parents, Sister, Erna (Wilmar) Gruetzmacher, sister-in-law: Ardis Will
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 25th, 4-8 PM, Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Prior Lake, MN and also one hour prior the service at church
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 26, 2008, 11:00 AM, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Prior Lake, MN with Rev. John P. Vaughn presiding
Interment: St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Prior Lake, MN
Pallbearers will be James Douglas, Brian Borchardt, Jeff Zahn, Michael Zahn, Brian Zahn, Jay Trocke, Eric Ruud, Nick Olson
Elaine was a cook for 30 years with the Prior Lake school district. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Ladies Aid, Quilters, and Bible Class. Elaine was also a greeter at church.
