Bennie Joe Melton

Bennie Joe Melton age 77 of Prior Lake passed away on  Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

 

Bennie was born May 20, 1930 at Etowah, TN, his parents were Ray & Nora (Mull) Melton.

 

He is survived by children Pamela (Austin) Johnson of Prior Lake, Michael (Beth) Melton of Cottage Grove., 4 grandchildren Justin Nelson, Joshua Nelson, Michael Melton, Christopher Melton, sisters Judy (Mick) Penning, Dot, brother Darrel (Brenda) Melton of Etowah, TN.

 

Bennie had worked as a clothing designer.

 

He is a US Navy Veteran, the FT. Snelling Memorial Rifle Squad will provide military honors.

 

Graveside Services will be held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis on Tuesday, April 22, at 10:15 AM
