He was born Sept. 28, 1953 in Valdez, CO to parents, Joe C. and Lucinda (Gonzales) Hernandez
Tony and Maria (Sena) Hernandez were united in marriage in Las Vegas, NM on August 9, 1975. They were blessed with 3 children.
Loved and forever missed by wife, Maria “Mary” Hernandez; children: Angelina (Matt) Thornhill of St. Paul, Tony “Toro” (Rosita) Hernandez Jr. of Bloomington, Jennifer (Martin Barrios) Hernandez of Plato, MN; grandchildren Nathan Hosea Taylor IV “Whippersnapper”, Guadalupe Thornhill “Lupi Lou”; Leticia Thornhill “Tortilla”, Estraya Barrios “Estrellita”, Ruby Thornhill “Rubes”; brothers: Roger (Angie) Hernandez of Trinidad, CO, Julian Hernandez of Dallas, TX, Leo Hernandez of Trinidad, CO, Jody Hernandez of Cape Canaveral, FL; sisters: Pat Guerra of Dallas, TZ, Stella (Ed) Salazar of Englewood, CO, Cathy Bowman of Trinidad, CO, Cecelia (Farrah) Abdullah of Trinidad, CO, Joanna (Joe) Castillo of Trinidad, CO, Carmen Hernandez of Dallas, TX; numerous nieces & nephews & relatives

Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 21st 9-10 AM, Church of St. Michael, Prior Lake, MN with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 AM.
Final Resting Place will be Fort Snelling National Cemetery |
