Elva Fahrenkamp Elva Fahrenkamp, 92, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2008 at the Belle Plaine Lutheran Home.
Elva was born April 19, 1916 in New Prague, MN to parents, John and Verena (Jahn) Gerdes. She married Marlin Fahrenkamp on Feb. 14, 1942 in Montgomery, MN. Elva was active at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with the Ladies Aid and the Quilters. She also volunteered for the Cap Agency. Elva enjoyed her Prior Lake home where she entertained family and friends.
Loved and forever missed by her children, Dennis (Toni) Fahrenkamp of Hernando, MS, Don (friend, Sandy) Fahrenkamp of Prior Lake, MN, Jon (Becky) Fahrenkamp of Isle, MN, Jane (Steven) Engle of Prior Lake, MN, Kathy (Wyatt) Reed of Jordan, Susan (Rick) Buckles of Lakeville; foster daughter, Cindy Hagen of Minneapolis, MN; 19 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren
Preceded in death by her husband, Marlin; infant daughter, Mary; her parents; brothers, Willard and Elmer Gerdes.
Visitation will be held on Saturday one hour prior the service at church.
Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, 11 AM, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Prior Lake, MN
Pallbearers will be Tim Fahrenkamp, Will Fahrenkamp, Travis Plekkenpol, Dalton Reed, Clinton Reed, Anthony Sommers
Interment will be at Czech National Cemetery, New Prague, MN
