Joan Meyers Joan Meyers, 66, of Prior Lake, MN passed away on February 7, 2008 at her home.
She was born May 20, 1941, St. Paul, MN to parents, Everett H. and Alpha J. (Anderson) Barnes
John R. Meyers and Joan were united in marriage Nov. 23, 1963 at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, MN and were blessed with 4 children.
Loved and forever missed by: children: David (Mary) Meyers of Eden Prairie, Lynn (Rick Nelson) Meyers of Prior Lake, MN, LeAnne Meyers of Prior Lake, Leslie (Steve) Wight of New Market; grandchildren: Matthew, Elise, Jenna, Ashlyn, Natalie & Lauren Meyers, Hailey and Gabriel Wight; two special 4-legged friends, Rynka & Sully
Preceded by her husband, John Meyers; parents, Barney and Alpha Barnes
Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 10th, 4-8 PM, Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Prior Lake, MN and also 1 hour prior the service at church on Monday
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, Feb. 11th, 11AM, Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave S, Minneapolis, MN
Interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN
Joan was a nurse at Mt. Olivet Careview in Minneapolis for 26 years. She enjoyed going out to eat, shopping, walking and especially spending time with family and friends. She was a special Nana to her grandchildren. |
